About BeadClick

BeadClick started as a personal tool, born out of an idea to improve my shared beading hobby with my wife.

Samantha and I started making beaded earrings a few years ago. It quickly became one of our favourite things to do together. Some days, after dinner, we sit at the kitchen table and bead. It's quiet and satisfying. It's one of those rare hobbies where you end up with something beautiful at the end of the evening.

Before BeadClick, I drafted designs in Affinity Designer. That's a professional illustration tool I already knew well. Most people would have little interest in learning it just to plan a beading project. It was not the right tool for the job. So, I built something purpose-made: a simple grid, a colour palette, a way to track your progress as you bead, and a place to keep all our designs in one spot. It was something we'd actually want to use ourselves.

After creating it, sharing BeadClick freely with the community felt right. We hope it makes your beading experience smoother.
